Fandango has announced that Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle has broken records on its platform, becoming the highest first-day ticket pre-seller for any anime movie in its history. The upcoming film overtook the benchmarks previously set by Demon Slayer: Mugen Train (2021) and Jujutsu Kaisen 0 (2022), achieving the milestone within the first 24 hours of coordinated on-sale.

The film marks the beginning of a three-part cinematic finale to the massively popular Demon Slayer anime series, which adapts the final part of Koyoharu Gotoge’s manga. Infinity Castle will be released in theaters across the United States on September 12, 2025, distributed by Crunchyroll and Sony Pictures Entertainment. Tickets went on sale on August 15, while Crunchyroll Mega and Ultimate Fan subscribers will also have access to early screenings on September 9.
Fans will be able to choose between the original Japanese version with English subtitles and an English-dubbed version, with screenings also offered in IMAX and other premium large formats. The movie was confirmed for a 155-minute runtime (2h35m), while it opened in the highest number of Japanese theaters in franchise’s history. It has been setting records in Japan, exceeding 25 billion yen in the first 31 days and already becoming the third highest-grossing Japanese film of all time.
