My Hero Academia: FINAL SEASON (Season 8) has officially released a new trailer teasing Deku and Shigaraki’s final battle. The trailer was previously uploaded yesterday by Crunchyroll, but was promptly deleted after a few hours.
The new trailer features the theme song “THE REVO” by PORNOGRAFFITI, the band which previously performed the anime’s very first opening theme song “THE DAY” in 2016. You can watch the new trailer below.

Kohei Horikoshi drew the My Hero Academia manga for Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump from July 2014 until August 2024. The series ended after a 10-year run, getting numerous illustrations and messages for the conclusion.

The manga received its first anime adaptation by studio BONES in 2016. It received 6 more seasons in the following years, with Season 7 concluding on October 12, 2024. You can read our review of the finale, as well as one of the entire season.

My Hero Academia Season 8 was officially announced immediately after the last episode, and it was confirmed to be the final one. The story left off right as the fights between All For One/One For All and Deku/Shigaraki got to their climaxes. Crunchyroll will also stream the last season, which recently confirmed an October 4 premiere date.
