Gomon Baito-kun no Nichijo (The Daily Life of Torture Part-Timer-kun) is officially getting a TV anime in Winter 2026. The main voice cast was announced, along with the first teaser visual and trailer.
- Shunichi Toki as Sero
- Takuma Terashima as Shiu
- Takuma Nagatsuka as Mike
- Yohei Azakami as Hugh
Set in a world where torture and murder are fully legal, the story follows four part-time workers at a torture company. It’s described as a unique mix of comedy and workplace slice-of-life.
The characters are:
- Sero is cheerful and easygoing, always friendly to others.
- Shiu acts laid-back but gets the job done with precision.
- Mike looks cute but is surprisingly sharp-tongued during torture sessions.
- Hugh is afraid of blood but can handle everything else.

The manga is currently serialized on Hakusensha’s Young Animal Web, with Volume 6 set to be released on June 27. The author, Yawora Tsugumi, left a comment and special illustration to commemorate the anime announcement:
Ever since I started drawing Gomon Baito-kun no Nichijo, I’ve experienced so many things that felt unreal—things I never even dreamed of. I’m constantly reminded of how much support this series has received from everyone involved and from all the readers.
And now, it’s being made into an anime—something that could be called the biggest dream for a manga artist. This is a dream we can all share.
