Though I Am an Inept Villainess: Tale of the Butterfly-Rat Body Swap in the Maiden Court anime revealed new character visuals featuring the two main characters. Studio Doga Kobo (OSHI NO KO) is in charge of the animation, with the anime first announced in March.

Though I Am an Inept Villainess: Tale of the Butterfly-Rat Body Swap in the Maiden CourtĀ is a Japanese light novel series by Satsuki Nakamura. It was first published online on the Shosetsuka ni Naro website in July 2020. Later that year, in December, Ichijinsha released the print edition featuring illustrations by YukiKana. Around the same time, a manga adaptation illustrated by Ei Ohitsuji began serialization inĀ Monthly Comic Zero Sum.
