The Strongest Man, Born From Misfortune light novel series by Fukufuku is getting a TV anime adaptation. A commemorative illustration by Zun Nakabayashi, the series’s light novel and manga illustrator, was also released. The release date, studio, staff, and voice cast members are yet to be revealed.

Fukufuku originally launched the series as a web novel on the Shosetsuka ni Naro website in 2017. Starts Publishing then acquired the title and began releasing it as a light novel under its Grast Novels imprint in March 2022 with illustrations by Zun Nakabayashi. There are currently four volumes in circulation.
The manga adaptation began serialization in Starts Publishing’s online magazine Comic Grast in October 2021 with seven volumes available now. Manga Plaza is publishing the title in English and they describe it as follows:
“Fortune and Misfortune are two sides of the same coin?! Reverse any adversary and cease redemption!!” Siegbert is reborn after an unfortunate accident in his previous life. His new family is warm and welcoming… so much so it seems as though he may no longer be an unlucky person. In this world, he can finally live a quiet, peaceful life… or so he thought. It seems that he actually holds an insanely high luck stat in this new world…? “Every chance is a manifestation of good fortune. If you can cease the chances, your wishes shall be granted…” Conquering each “chance” granted by his good fortune, will he now cease redemption on the generational legacy this family has yet to fulfill?!
