The Rising of the Shield Hero Season 4 has been officially listed with a total of 12 episodes, as confirmed by the details of its Blu-ray and DVD release schedule. The home video release will be released over three volumes, with each containing four episodes.
According to the official website, Volume 1 is scheduled for release on October 29, 2025, including Episodes 1 through 4. Volume 2 will follow on November 26, 2025, featuring Episodes 5 through 8. The final volume, containing Episodes 9 through 12, is set for release on December 24, 2025. Both Blu-ray and DVD formats will be available.
Each volume will also include several bonuses. The first volume will include a newly drawn art jacket by the original character designer and anime staff, along with a special booklet containing an original novel written by the series’ author, Aneko Yusagi.
Each volume will offer several other bonuses: Volume 1 will include a creditless opening and episode previews for Episodes 1 to 4, Volume 2 will include a creditless ending and previews for Episodes 5 to 8, while Volume 3 will feature a collection of promotional videos and commercials alongside previews for Episodes 9 to 12.
Studio Kinema Citrus is returning to animate The Rising of the Shield Hero Season 4, and the anime recently revealed its full staff and first trailer.
