Following the premiere of The Beginning After the End (TBATE) Season 1 finale, a special illustration was revealed to tease Season 2. This comes after Crunchyroll’s earlier confirmation of the sequel, which is set to arrive to the platform in Spring 2026.
Episode 12 premiered today, and it ended with another 2-year timeskip that saw Arthur get a new look. That’s the look he has in the special commemorative illustration, where he poses with a peace sign alongside Jasmine.

The TBATE anime is directed by Keitaro Motonaga at studio A-CAT. The main staff also includes Takamitsu Kono in charge of the series composition, Masami Sueoka as the character designer, and Keiji Inai responsible for the music.
The main voice cast includes Natsumi Fujiwara as Arthur Leywin, Makoto Furukawa as King Grey, Kana Ichinose as Tessia, and Chiaki Omigawa as Jasmine. The latest additions included Gen Sato as Elijah Knight and Shoya Chiba as Lucas Wykes, both of whom debuted in today’s episode.

We previously had a chance to interview TurtleMe, and he told us that Crunchyroll has been “instrumental in bridging the creative vision with global reach.” The author also recently announced a Kickstarter campaign for the print edition of the first 3 volumes.
