The fifth weekly Anime Corner poll for the Summer 2025 anime season is in, with 10,689 fans casting their votes. Takopi’s Original Sin continued its dominant streak and completed a full sweep, securing the top spot for the fifth consecutive week with a noticeable bump in vote share for its finale. Although it only ran for 6 episodes, this marks only the second time an anime managed to win every weekly poll during its airing (The Dangers in My Heart Season 2 was the first, winning 12/12 weeks in Winter 2024).
Dan Da Dan Season 2 kept steady at second, while The Summer Hikaru Died made a dramatic leap into third place after sitting at tenth last week. Toilet-Bound Hanako-kun Season 2 Part 2 also saw a significant rise, climbing five spots to break into the top five.
Meanwhile, last week’s breakout hit Dealing with Mikadono Sisters Is a Breeze slid down slightly, and The Fragrant Flower Blooms with Dignity continues to hover near the top despite a minor dip.
With several shows finding their rhythm and others surprising fans week to week, the competition is only getting fiercer. Next week will also have the first new winner, with Takopi’s Original Sin excluded from any voting until the final Anime of the Season poll. As always, these rankings reflect the preferences of fans who participated in the poll, helping spotlight the season’s most compelling titles.
