Sony confirmed that the popular Solo Leveling anime is officially the most viewed anime on Crunchyroll ever, per a new report from its Business Segment Presentation & Fireside Chat 2025. Under the Music Segment (Japan) (PDF) section, Solo Leveling, which was co-produced by Sony Music Entertainment Japan’s Aniplex with animation production by Aniplex’s subsidiary A-1 Pictures, was “ranked #1 in Crunchyroll View Count History (as of the end of March 2025).“

The announcement follows confirmation that Solo Leveling was the most viewed new anime of 2024 as well as the most popular anime of Q1 2025, per Solo Leveling publisher Kakao Entertainment. Sung Jinwoo’s voice actor, Aleks Le, recently picked up an Astra Award for Best Lead Voice-Over Performance.
