Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – Hinokami Chronicles 2 has revealed a new gameplay trailer, showing off the Dual Ultimate of Sabito and Makomo. The game previously revealed the ability of numerous other combinations, including Tanjiro x Nezuko, Tengen x Kyojuro, Giyu x Shinobu, and more.
The sequel game is set for a global launch on August 5. It will officially be available for the PlayStation, Steam, Xbox, and Switch. The third main trailer for the game was recently revealed as well, showing off several other features.
Sabito and Makomo were important characters in Demon Slayer. They appeared during Tanjiro Kamado’s training in the Final Selection. They were former students of the former Water Hashira, Sakonji Urokodaki, and they both died at the hands of the Hand Demon. You can see them in action in the trailer below.
The game will follow shortly after the release of Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle, which will premiere in Japan a few weeks earlier on July 18, 2025. The international releases are scheduled shortly after, between August and September. The first full trailer was also teased and set to be revealed later this month.
