The upcoming ROLL OVER AND DIE anime has released its second teaser trailer, along with new details on the main staff and voice cast members. The anime is scheduled to premiere in 2026, with Crunchyroll confirmed to be streaming.
Ayaka Nanase was previously announced as the main character Flum, while the full voice cast includes:

Q1. What was your impression of this work?
A: As I read the original story, I found myself drawn deeper and deeper into the mysteries—wondering what was really happening in this world and how everything was connected. At times, I even let out a startled gasp as I turned the pages! I was especially captivated by the contrast between the intense, almost unbearable scenes you want to look away from and the heartwarming, everyday moments. That gap really gripped my heart.
Q2. What’s your impression of the character you play, and what’s your mindset going into the role?
A: Milkit has lived her entire life as a slave since she was a child, and because of that, she struggles to express emotions—both through words and facial expressions. I want to put my all into portraying Milkit as she slowly begins to change after meeting Flum, and to convey her devoted, innocent, and endearing nature as sincerely as I can.
The anime is adapting the ROLL OVER AND DIE: I Will Fight for an Ordinary Life with My Love and Cursed Sword! light novel series written by kiki and illustrated by kinta. The story began as a web novel on the site Shosetsuka ni Naro in January 2018. Later in July that year, Micro Magazine picked it up and began releasing it in print under their GC Novels label.
A manga version by Sunao Minakata has been running online on Micro Magazine’s Comic Ride website since December 2018. Seven Seas Entertainment licensed both the light novel and manga in English. The story follows Flamme Apricot, a girl chosen by divine prophecy for a hero’s party despite having no combat ability. After being betrayed and sold into slavery, her fate changes when she unlocks the power of a mysterious “Reversal” skill and gets a cursed sword.
