A teaser visual and the voice actress of Akari Hiodoshi from the upcoming Osananajimi to wa LoveCom ni Naranai anime have been revealed on Tuesday. Yu Serizawa will be playing the role of Akari Hiodoshi, who is one of the childhood friends of Eeyuu. The series previously unveiled a visual of the other childhood friend, Shio Minami.
Serizawa also left a comment on the character she’s voicing:
I’m Yu Serizawa and I’ll be voicing Akari Hiodoshi. Akari-chan just can’t be honest at all. What she says and what she really feels inside are often completely different, so while playing her I’m always searching for her true feelings. Sometimes her “can’t be honest shield” breaks down and when her girlish side overflows, it’s unbelievably cute, so please look forward to that!
Studio Tezuka Productions is animating the series, which is slated to premiere in 2026. The TV anime adaptation is based on a manga of the same name written and drawn by Shinya Misu. The synopsis of the series is as follows:
Eeyuu, a high school boy, has a dilemma. His two childhood friends, Shio and Akari, who attend the same school, have become way too cute! Even though neither of them has any romantic interest in him, if they ever found out that he’s been looking at their grown-up selves with less-than-innocent thoughts… it would be beyond embarrassing! But Shio and Akari each have their own secrets, too…!?
It’s frustrating! It’s complicated!! But childhood friends are the absolute best!!!
