One Piece Anime Begins Elbaph Arc in April 2026, Reveals First Teaser Visual & Future Plans

ONE PIECE released a new key visual featuring Luffy in a new outfit ahead of the upcoming Elbaph Island arc, which has been ongoing in the manga for a while. The anime also announced a planned 3-Month hiatus from January to March 2026, with future plans being to adapt 1 manga chapter per 1 anime episode.
The new arc is set to begin after the ‘recharge period’ in April 2026, and you can see the new key visual below.

The ONE PIECE manga by Eiichiro Oda first began in July 1997, and the series exceeded 500 million circulating copies worldwide in August 2022. It also celebrated the 25th anniversary in 2022, while the anime adaptation started in October 1999 and is also still going strong.
