My Friend’s Little Sister Has It In for Me anime revealed the second teaser trailer and new visual ahead of its October 2025 premiere date. Studio BLADE is animating, with the main staff including Kazuomi Koga as the director, Toko Machida as the scriptwriter, and Katsuyuki Sato as the character designer. The first trailer was released in January this year.

The main voice cast from the drama CD adaptation are reprising their roles in the anime, including:
- Haruki Ishiya as Akiteru Ooboshi
- Sayumi Suzushiro as Iroha Kohinata
- Tomori Kusunoki as Mashiro Tsukinomori
- Soma Saito as Ozuma Kohinata
- Kana Hanazawa as Sumire Kageishi
Mikawa Ghost writes the My Friend’s Little Sister Has It In for Me light novel series, which features art by Tomari. The series began in April 2019 and has been collected into eleven volumes as of March 15, 2025. There is also a manga adaptation by Hira Hiraoka, which is serialized on Square Enix’s Manga Up! magazine. Comikey is also publishing it in English.
