The ending theme song for the My Dress-Up Darling Season 2 has been announced, and it will be “Kawaii Kaiwai” by PiKi, a new idol unit composed of Karen Matsumoto and Haruka Sakuraba.

Matsumoto is a member of FRUITS ZIPPER, a Harajuku-based idol group managed by ASOBISYSTEM’s KAWAII LAB. Sakuraba is affiliated with CUTIE STREET, another KAWAII LAB. project that debuted in 2024. PiKi marks a collaborative unit that will feature members from two separate active groups within the same management label.

The song was first performed live at OKINAWA COLLECTION 2025 on June 21. A short video featuring comments from the two performers was also released:

Comment from Karen Matsumoto:

I already knew that Paru-tan (Haruka) was a big fan of My Dress-Up Darling, so I was really happy that we could be part of this together!
After I received the offer, I read the series myself, and I really love how every character is so passionate about the things they love. It feels very “NEW KAWAII,” and that really resonated with me ♡
As for the song, I hope people will pay attention to how well Paru-tan’s voice and mine blend together—it even surprised me how well they match! I hope everyone listens a lot and comes to love the anime even more!

Comment from Haruka Sakuraba:

I’ve always, always loved My Dress-Up Darling—I’ve read every volume, so when I heard we’d be doing the ending theme, I was honestly shocked and incredibly happy.
The ending theme, “Kawaii Kaiwai,” is a beautiful song that captures Marin’s passion for both love and cosplay, so I hope people will really listen closely.
I’m also really looking forward to Marin’s new cosplay and how her relationship with Gojo-kun develops!
