Kodansha USA announced on Friday its full lineup of creators set to make appearances at Kodansha House this coming October: Atsushi Ohkubo (Fire Force, Soul Eater), Fujita (Wotakoi: Love is Hard for Otaku), and Suu Morishita (A Sign of Affection) will all appear at the event with Q&A sessions and signings.

The Kodansha House Pop-Up event is taking place at 210 Lafayette St, SoHo, New York City (note this is different from last year’s location). The event will be open from Tuesday to Sunday, from 12:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. EDT starting on October 4th and running through October 19th.

This year’s Kodansha House promises an expanded space, more interactive exhibits and fresh programming designed to celebrate the manga community. Series such as Attack on Titan, Ghost in the Shell, Blue Lock, and many more will be featured amongst the activations. Kodansha also ran a contest, KODANSHA Mochikomi Fresh Ink 2025, from August 1st to August 10th where aspiring manga creators were able to submit their portfolios for evaluation. Selected Mochikomi finalists will have the chance to sit down with one of Kodansha’s editors at Kodansha House for a 1:1 portfolio review.

Last year’s event featured a variety of exciting activations, including creator visits from manga creators Shuzo Oshimi (The Flowers of Evil), Tsubasa Yamaguchi (Blue Period), Makoto Yukimura (Vinland Saga), and Kamome Shirahama (Witch Hat Atelier). In addition to those visits and their accompanying events, there were also a variety of movie nights, exhibits, retro games, a manga library, anime and manga themed drinks, and plenty of opportunities to network and connect with fellow fans of anime and manga.

All Kodansha House programming is free to attend, but tickets are required. The date for creator ticket
appearances will be announced in the coming weeks. Follow Kodansha House on social media or at
kodanshahouse.com and sign up for newsletters for first access when tickets go live.
