Masayuki Suzuki, the singer known for performing the opening theme songs of the Kaguya-sama: Love is War anime, released the music video for the opening theme song of the upcoming Kaguya-sama: Love Is War – The Stairway to Adulthood TV special anime. Aoi Koga (Kaguya’s voice actress) is accompanying Suzuki in the latest opening titled “Abunai Kioku.”
Studio A-1 Pictures animated all three seasons of the series. The first season premiered in 2019 then the second season aired in 2020, and the third season started in 2022. The series also received an anime film, The First Kiss That Never Ends, which premiered in theaters in December 2022. A live-action film adaptation was also released in September 2019. The cast consists of:

- Konomi Kohara as Chika Fujiwara
- Ryota Suzuki as Yū Ishigami
- Miyu Tomita as Miko Iino

The anime is based on the manga series by Aka Akasaka and was launched in Shueisha’s seinen manga magazine Miracle Jump in May 2015. The manga was then switched to the publisher’s Weekly Young Jump magazine in March 2016. The manga ended in November 2022 with 28 volumes in total and surpassed 22 million circulating copies worldwide. Viz Media licenses the manga in English, and they describe the plot as follows:
Will all our beloved characters get a happy ending? Maki is still trying to get over Tsubasa, Miko is running for student council president, and Chika wants a romantic partner of her own.
