Developed by Cygames since 2014, Granblue Fantasy is renowned for its worldbuilding, story, length, and artwork, which was a focus of the Cygames Art Exhibition 2024–2025 held at six Japanese universities last year. Cross-border e-commerce company Buyee recently announced that it will distribute the art book documenting the exhibition in 100 countries worldwide.
Granblue Fantasy has been downloaded over 37 million times, and is described:
In one corner of the turbulent skies, there appeared a blue beacon of hope.
There exists a world in which islands of all shapes and sizes float in a sea of clouds. This is a world forsaken by the gods.
A long time ago, beings known as the Astrals attempted to seize control of this world with their overwhelming power. However, the citizens of the skies, the Skydwellers, successfully resisted. The world once again entered a time of peace.
Presently, our hero is about to embark on a journey after receiving a letter from his missing father. Accompanying him is Vyrn, a rather peculiar family member who happens to be a winged lizard. Despite Vyrn’s objections, our hero prepares to leave his home of Zinkenstill when the mysterious island is suddenly engulfed in flames.
The fleet of the burgeoning Erste Empire wreaks havoc from the skies above.
Amidst the chaos, a chance encounter with a mysterious girl named Lyria awakens the fallen dragon of the stars, who unleashes a roar of revival.

Meanwhile, the Hunter x Hunter anime adapts Yoshihiro Togashi’s manga of the same name, serialized in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump. Crunchyroll streams the anime while VIZ publishes the manga in English, describing it:
Gon might be a country boy, but he has high aspirations. Despite his Aunt Mito’s protests, Gon decides to follow in his father’s footsteps and become a legendary Hunter. The Hunter hopefuls begin their journey by storm-tossed ship, where Gon meets Leorio and Kurapika, the only other applicants who aren’t devastated by bouts of seasickness.
Having survived the terrors of the high seas, Gon and his companions now have to prove their worth in a variety of tests in order to find the elusive Exam Hall. And once they get there, will they ever leave alive…?
