Dragon Ball DAIMA won Best Anime Series at the 2025 Hollywood Creative Alliance Astra TV Awards, held on June 10, 2025. The series beat out DAN DA DAN, Fire Force Season 3, Lazarus, Solo Leveling Season 2, and The Apothecary Diaries Season 2.

Aleks Le took home the award for Best Lead Voice-Over Performance for his role as Sung Jinwoo in Solo Leveling Season 2. Previously announced nominees included Stephanie Nadolny (Kid Goku, Dragon Ball DAIMA) and Johnny Yong Bosch (Dante, Devil May Cry) for Best Lead Voice-Over Performance, as well as Caitlin Glass (Nefertari Vivi, One Piece), Justin Briner (Yoo Jinho, Solo Leveling), and Xolo Mariduena (Heisuke Mashimo, Sakamoto Days) for Best Supporting Voice-Over Performance. The award ceremony streams on KNEKT TV, whose app is available on Roku, Android, and Apple devices. Additionally, clips from the event can be found on the official Astra Awards YouTube Channel.

Crunchyroll and Hulu simulcast Dragon Ball DAIMA in English subbed as it aired in Japan from October 11. Netflix picked it up on October 14 (Asia) and globally on October 18. Crunchyroll began streaming the English dubbed version in January. It describes Dragon Ball DAIMA:
Goku and company were living peaceful lives when they suddenly turned small due to a conspiracy! When they discover that the reason for this may lie in a world known as the “Demon Realm”, a mysterious young Majin named Glorio appears before them.

The Astra Awards are voted on by members of the Hollywood Creative Alliance, which is a 501 c6 membership-based, not-for-profit organization.
