Dr. Stone: Science Future Cour 3 is set to release in 2026. The announcement was made after the final episode of the second cour premiered in Japan. An announcement visual featuring Senku was also revealed. The series had previously been confirmed as a three-cour production, with the upcoming cour serving as its conclusion.

The first season of theĀ Dr. StoneĀ anime adaptation began airing in 2019 with a total of 24 episodes. The second season,Ā Dr. Stone: Stone Wars, started in January 2021 and ran for 11 episodes. The third,Ā Stone: New World, ran for 23 episodes over 2 split cours in 2023. The fourth season was announced as the final one immediately after the finale of season 3. The series also receivedĀ a special episodeĀ focusing on Ryusui in July 2022.
Studio TMS Entertainment animated the first three seasons, with Crunchyroll streaming all of them. Netflix is also streaming seasons 1 and 2.
The anime is based on a manga written byĀ Riichiro InagakiĀ and illustrated byĀ Boichi. ItĀ endedĀ after 5 years of serialization on March 7, 2022. It had a total of 232 chapters, and you can read it onĀ VIZĀ orĀ MANGA Plus. VIZ describes the story:
