A special theater etiquette video featuring the upcoming Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle Arc Movie 1 will be shown at TOHO Cinemas in Japan starting on June 20. The collaboration between TOHO Cinemas and the Demon Slayer franchise will be screened exclusively at TOHO Cinemas locations across Japan for a limited time, from June 20 to July 17.

The etiquette video will play ahead of the official release of Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle Arc Movie 1, which hits Japan’s theaters on July 18. Animated by ufotable, the studio behind the anime, this new short will feature original animation and include appearances by former Sound Hashira Tengen Uzui along with his wives Makio, Suma, and Hinatsuru.

Theater etiquette videos are the short clips shown before the main feature to remind the audience of proper behavior while in a theater. This includes turning off cell phones, not talking, and refraining from recording the film. You can see a preview of the new Demon Slayer clip below:

Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle Arc x TOHO Cinemas Movie Etiquette Announcement Video

Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – Infinity Castle Arc Movie 1 is scheduled to premiere in Japan on July 18, 2025. The first full trailer is scheduled to be unveiled on June 28.

Following its premiere in Japan, the movie is scheduled for international release between August 14 and September 25, 2025. A total of three movies was announced. As part of the countdown, special visuals featuring numerous characters were previously revealed, as well as a huge, 2.8-hectare Tanjiro Kamado rice field.

In related news, Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – Hinokami Chronicles 2 is scheduled for global release on August 5, 2025, and it will be available for PlayStation, Steam, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch.
