Perhaps contrary to some reports, the release dates of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle Movie 2 & 3 haven’t been decided yet, with Crunchyroll CEO Rahul Purini acknowledging that there is a sense of urgency in the fanbase to release it as soon as possible. He told The Hollywood Reporter:

“Well, we’ve announced that it will be a trilogy of movies, but our partners at Aniplex and Ufotable haven’t decided on dates yet. But look, there’s definitely urgency for all of us to bring more Demon Slayer to fans as soon as we can — because we know the urgency is there among the fan base.“
On whether the success of the first movie, currently sitting at $558 million globally (via The Numbers), will prompt a greater budget and spectacle, Purini said, “We’re still in the midst of the first one’s release, so all I can say for now is that we’re working closely with our partners to make sure the next two movies are going to be just as amazing — if not better.” Purini adds that it’s unconfirmed whether Crunchyroll will have exclusive streaming rights, as the decision isn’t up to them. Crunchyroll’s Mitchel Berger recently confirmed that Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle will not arrive on streaming in 2025.
Despite this, Crunchyroll will, at the very least, be one of the platforms streaming the movie, according to a report by Deadline in May.
