In light of the season 2 finale, Grand Blue is getting a season 3. A teaser visual was also released, and it was announced that the third season will be set overseas for the first time, in Palau.

Grand Blue Dreaming, known as Grand Blue, is a Japanese manga series written by Kenji Inoue and illustrated by Kimitake Yoshioka. It has been serialized in Kodansha’s Good! Afternoon magzine since April 2014. The first anime TV series was animated by Zero-G, running from July to September 2018. The franchise also has a live-action movie, which was released in August 2020.
Studios ZERO-G and Liber are in charge of the animation of the second season with Shinji Takamatsu as director, scriptwriter, and sound director. Hideoki Kusama was handling the character designs and Yukari Hashimoto composed the music.
The story follows Iori Kitahara, who moves away to a seaside town after graduating from an all-boys high school. He ends up working at his uncle’s dive shop, as well as actually getting into the hobby with some free-spirited senpais. He will go through the booze-filled college life, making a bunch of friends while making everyone laugh at the craziness of their adventures.
