Blue Orchestra Season 2 revealed a new trailer featuring additional cast and theme song artists. Galileo Galilei performs the opening theme song “Amadeus,” and ChoQMay sings the ending theme song “Ao no Maho.” Joining the cast are the following:

- Iori Saeki as Rika Togane
The voice cast includes:

- Ai Kakuma as Ritsuko Akine

- Minako Sato as Haru Kozakura
- Makoto Furukawa as Ichiro Yamada
- Lynn as Shizuka Tachibana
- Shintaro Asanuma as Yo Hatori
- Junya Enoki as So Harada
- Ryotaro Okiayu as Ryujin Aono
The anime is adapted from the manga by Makoto Akui, which has been serialized since 2017 on Shogakukan’s Manga ONE app. Seiji Kishi is directing the second season at studio Nippon Animation, with Yuko Kakihara as the series composition writer, Kazuaki Morita as the character designer, Akira Kosemura as the music composer, and Satoki Iida as the sound director.
The synopsis of the series is as follows:
Hajime Aono, influenced by his father who is a violinist, competed in competitions until the first grade of junior high school. When his father left home, Hajime became apathetic and distanced himself from the violin. However, in the fall of his junior year of high school, he meets Ritsuko Akine.
Through teaching her the violin as a beginner, he faces music again.Aono reaffirms his enjoyment of music, and together with Akine, he enrolls in Umimaku High School, which has a strong orchestra club. Through friendly competition with rivals and friends, Aono confronts himself and his past and refines his talent.
Aono, as well as his family and the other members of the club, face a variety of problems related to their talents. Overcoming their own problems, they work together to create their own performance for the regular concert. A coming-of-age ensemble drama in which the members come together through music.
