The Shy Hero and the Assassin Princesses anime revealed the main trailer ahead of its July 5 premiere date. Studio CONNECT is animating, with Noriaki Akitaya as the director. Crunchyroll will stream the anime worldwide as part of its Summer 2025 lineup starting on July 5.

The rest of the main staff includes Michiko Yokote on the series compositon, Takao Sano as the character designer, and Shun Narita as the music composer. The anime previously revealed character visuals and trailers for each of the princesses, as well as the main visual.

The new trailer features the opening theme song “Tenden Barabara” by Yoshino, and you can watch it below.

The main voice cast includes Shunsuke ‌Takeuchi as Toto, Iori ‌Saeki as Ciel, Hitomi ‌Ueda as Anemone, and Haruka ‌Shiraishi as Goa. The story follows the hero Toto, whose shyness prevents him from forming a party and living up to his potential. He then joins a party of three beautiful women, all of whom are plotting to kill him. The three voice actresses will also perform the ending song “Sukimajikan,” with a preview video released.

Norishiro-chan writes the Kizetsu Yusha to Ansatsu Hime (also known as The Stunned Hero and the Assassin Princesses) manga, with art by Yukiji Setsuda. It has been serialized in AKITASHOTEN’s Weekly Shonen Champion magazine since October 2022.
