WIND BREAKER Season 2 revealed the preview for Episode 12 (Episode 25 overall), which will be the season’s finale. Studio CloverWorks is in charge of the animation, with Crunchyroll streaming the anime as part of its Spring 2025 lineup. Episode 12 is titled “Strength for Whose Sake” and will premiere on Thursday, June 19. Its staff includes:

On the rooftop of Furin High School, Sakura, Nirei, and Suo were summoned.
There, the Four Kings and their respective second-in-commands, along with Sugishita who assists Umemiya, have gathered. Umemiya, having already heard the full story of the recent incidents from Tsubakino, called Sakura and the others for a reason — to reveal the truth about Endo, the mastermind behind the conflicts with KEEL and GRAVEL, and to explain the origins of Bofurin.
As Umemiya, Hiiragi, Tsubakino, Momose, and Mizuki entered Furin High School and united to become “Bofurin,” a “shadow” was inevitably born from that process…
The anime is directed by Toshifumi Akai at CloverWorks, with series composition by Hiroshi Seko. It also features character designs and chief animation direction by Taishi Kawakami, along with music by Ryo Takahashi.
The voice cast is led by Yuma Uchida as Haruka Sakura and Yuichi Nakamura as Hajime Umemiya, with Ikumi Hasegawa as Kotoha Tachibana, Shoya Chiba as Akihiko Nirei, and Nobunaga Shimazaki as Hayato Suo. The cast also includes Koki Uchiyama, Ryota Suzuki, Nobuhiko Okamoto, Toshiyuki Toyonaga, and the latest addition Daisuke Ono.
Satoru Nii writes and illustrates the WIND BREAKER manga, which is serialized on Kodansha’s Magazine Pocket website. Kodansha USA licensed the manga in English, while Crunchyroll is streaming the anime.
The story follows Haruka Sakura, a first-year student at Furin High School, a school notorious for being the place of delinquents who use brute strength to solve everything. However, he instead found Bofurin, a group which actually works to protect the town from actual bad guys. Now Haruka has to learn what it’s like to have people who genuinely care for him, which leads to him also growing a lot stronger along the way.
