The Banished Court Magician Aims to Become the Strongest anime revealed a new teaser visual, this time featuring the character Ornest Lane. Alongside the visual, it was announced that Masaki Mizunaka will voice the character. This is the fourth cast announcement for the anime so far.

The new visual features Ornest, a member of Alec’s party, and one of Alec’s closest friends. Commenting on his role, Mizunaka described Ornest as “a musclehead, no, a genius,” adding:

“He has a very straightforward and aggressive fighting style, always charging into battle and overwhelming opponents with pure power and passion. While he can be a bit rough around the edges, he’s a reliable ally who trusts his friends and is trusted by them in return. Alec, Yorha, Krasia, and Ornest all bring different talents to their party, and their combat scenes are incredibly exciting. I’ve put a lot of passion into voicing him, and I hope viewers enjoy watching this fun and action-packed series!”

The story follows Alec, a former court magician who had quietly supported the crown prince.
