The previously announced The Dark History of the Reincarnated Villainess anime unveiled a visual and trailer on Monday, featuring four additional cast members. The series will premiere in October 2025.
The additional cast members and their voice actors consist of:
- Yomi Blacksarana (CV: Toki Shunichi)
- Cheneau Clematis (CV: Arthur Lounsbery)
- Yamato Hydrangea (CV: Tomoaki Maeno)
- Mika (CV: Atsushi Tamaru)
Hiroaki Sakurai is directing the series at Studio DEEN. Mitsutaka Hirota is writing the series composition, Tomoyo Sawada is designing the characters, and Ryuichi Takada is composing the music. Yoshino Aoyama stars as Iana Magnolia. The rest of the voice cast includes:
- M・A・O as Konoha Magnolia
- Shohei Komatsu as Sol Nemophyra
- Makoto Furukawa as Ginoford Dandelion
The Dark History of the Reincarnated Villainess anime is based on a manga written and illustrated by Akiharu Toka. Yen Press licenses the manga in English, and they describe the plot as follows:
Konoha Satou has a dark history. After all, she spent her teen years writing self-indulgent fantasy romance fics-like her Dark History. However, since she’s become its most despicable villainess, remembering every last detail is now a matter of life-and-death. After avoiding some death flags, she suddenly left in the dark when an unknown character appeared that wasn’t in the original script. Although they claims to be her ally, can Satou really trust a character she knows nothing about in such a dangerous world?
