New PANTY & STOCKING with GARTERBELT anime has revealed the main trailer, along with a new key visual and July 9 premiere date. The series will stream worldwide on Prime Video starting July 9, 2025, with its world premiere confirmed for Anime Expo 2025 (details below).
The project is being produced by Studio TRIGGER, which took over the rights to the series from GAINAX last year. Director Hiroyuki Imaishi returns alongside co-directors Hiromi Wakabayashi and Akira Furukawa.
Most of the original voice cast is returning. Arisa Ogasawara reprises her role as Panty, with Mariya Ise back as Stocking. Koji Ishii returns as Garterbelt, Hiroyuki Yoshino as Brief, Takashi Nakamura as Chuck, and Yuka Komatsu as Scanty. Akeno Watanabe joins as Kneesocks, taking over from Ayumi Fujimura, while Yuko Natsuyoshi takes on Fastener, replacing Miki Makiguchi. Two newly introduced characters, Polyester and Polyurethane, are voiced by Junya Enoki and Yuto Uemura, respectively.

The series composition for the New PANTY & STOCKING with GARTERBELT anime is handled by co-directors Imaishi and Wakabayashi, with original character designs by Atsushi Nishigori and character designs by Shigeto Koyama, SUSHiO, and Masaru Sakamoto. Shigeto Koyama also serves as art director, and Yoh Yoshinari is credited as special specialist.
The music features returning composers ☆Taku Takahashi (m-flo) and TeddyLoid, joined by TAKU INOUE, 80KIDZ, KM, TAAR, MONJOE, Yackle, Mitsunori Ikeda, Junji Chiba, and others.
The series also announced that its world premiere will be held at Anime Expo 2025 in Los Angeles, with several events scheduled:
