The Water Magician anime revealed a new trailer, along with additional voice cast and a July 3 premiere date. Studios Typhoon Graphics and Wonderland are in charge of the animation. Hideyuki Satake, who worked as an assistant director on Delicious in Dungeon, serves as the director. Yuka Kozutsumi is the character designer, while Jun Kumagai is in charge of the series composition.
The opening theme song for the anime is “Blue Motion” by Meiyo Densetsu, while the ending song is “Tayutau Mamani” by misaki. You can hear the opening in the new trailer below.
The anime was announced in January this year, with the main cast including Ayumu Murase as Ryo, Kazuki Ura as Abel, and Kaede Hondo as Sera. The new additions are:

The Water Magician (Mizuzokusei no Mahotsukai) light novel series is written by Tadashi Kubo, featuring illustrations by Hana Amano. It started on the Shosetsuka ni Naro website in April 2020, while TO Books acquired it and began publishing the print version in March 2021. A manga adaptation by Bokutengo began serialization in September 20, 2021. J-Novel Club licensed both the novel and manga in English.
The story follows Ryo, who gets reincarnated into the magical world of Phi, where he hopes to have a quiet life with his water magic. Stranded in monster-filled wilderness, he survives using his wits and the hidden “Eternal Youth” trait. Over decades, his power grows, and he has a chance encounter which pulls him into a greater adventure. Ryo’s journey to become the strongest water magician begins.
